Early Intervention PSA
Early diagnosis and intervention for autism spectrum disorders (ASD) can significantly improve outcomes for children. Research shows that African American and Hispanic children are diagnosed later, and Ohio's Act Early team has worked to improve this situation.
These public service announcements (PSAs) were developed by OCALI, supported by a grant from the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities and funded by the Health Services Resource Administration (HRSA) to raise awareness about the importance of early diagnosis and intervention. The PSAs have been distributed to 55 Ohio Television stations statewide.
