Summer Camp at Helping Hands Center is an 8-week camp (Mondays - Thursdays) for kids, ages 2 1/2 to 12. Helping Hands Center, a non-profit organization serving the educational and therapeutic needs of individuals with Autsim and other developmental disabilities, will host its 4th annual Golf Outing on Friday, July 26, 2013. The outing, organized as a 4-person scramble with a shot gun start, will take place at Cumberland Trail Golf Club. The fee for individuals to golf is $75; a foursome is $300. Fees include 18-holes of golf, carts, a continental breakfast and an awards luncheon.Funds raised at this event will support Helping Hands Center's Scholarship Fund, providing tuition relief for families of the center. Helping Hands Center works diligently to never turn a child away because of the cost of services, and to keep out-of-pocket expenses for families as low as possible. During the 2011-12 academic year, HHC awarded over $30,000 in scholarships to 17 families and to date, has awarded over $31,000 in scholarships to 17 families during the most recent academic year.Helping Hands Center is pleased to welcome BJ's Brewhouse and Columbus Distributing as in-kind sponsors of the event, and is actively looking for corporate sponsors.
