Continuing Education


This list represents current approvals for the Outreach Center for Deafness and Blindness and will continue to be updated as new applications are pending and approved. For all continuing education, please check with your licensing or accrediting organization if you have any questions about specific accreditation in your local area for your profession.

To receive credit for a course, please update your Profile with the relevant professional information and generate the associated certificate(s) for completed work from the Module or Webinar Overviews.

American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)

ASHA CE Approved Provider - OCALI

Information for each individual session may be accessed by clicking the appropriate link. Participants MUST complete the ASHA CEU form in its entirety if they would like OCALI to send their CEU information to ASHA. Information is reported to ASHA monthly with the exception of the Promoting Access module, which is reported to ASHA on a quarterly basis.

ASHA may ask you to verify attendance in each session. The Outreach Center for Deafness and Blindness requests you take the time to download the certificate for each module you complete.

Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Association (OCCRRA)

The following have received the Ohio Approved (OA) Designation for OCCRRA:

  • Promoting Access for People Who Are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Blind or Visually Impaired (module) - 2.5 hours

To receive credit for a course, please enter your Ohio Professional Registry OPIN in your Profile. If you do not know your OPIN, or you need to create an OPIN so you receive Ohio-approved training, visit occrra.org.

When you have completed an approved course, you will submit it to OCCRRA by following the prompts provided.

Ohio Psychological Association (OPA)

Information for each individual session may be accessed by clicking the appropriate link. Participants MUST complete the CEU form in its entirety for OCALI to report to OPA on a quarterly basis. Course date will reflect the first date of the biennium.

OPA may ask you to verify attendance in each session. The Outreach Center for Deafness and Blindness requests you take the time to download the certificate for each module you complete.
