Third Thursday: Family Online Learning Series


Introducing Third Thursday, a new monthly 1-hour webstream series designed for families of individuals with disabilities. Each month, you’ll learn from experts in the field as they address hot topics  and key concerns - and provide research-based and tested practices, ideas, and strategies to help address your most pressing needs.

The webstream is scheduled from 6:30 - 7:30pm the third Thursday of every month. Can’t attend the live stream? No worries. All sessions will be archived on the Family Center website.

  • Lifespan Services from the County Boards of Developmental Disabilities

Grandparents: How They Can Help Parents with ASD

Grandparents can play a significant role in supporting their adult children who are dealing with the challenges of ASD. Jennifer Krumins, a teacher, consultant and parent will talk about the many ways grandparents can support both the grandchild with ASD and the parents who are learning about living with autism.
